My preferred method is to bring your furniture piece into my studio. This allows me to spend as much time as I need to assure a perfectly fitting slipcover according to your design preferences. Also, I am able to raise the furniture to a more comfortable height, which really saves me from a lot of back pain. This old back ain't what it used to be!

However, if removing the furniture from your home would be problematic, ( no elevator, condo rules, etc) I can accomplish the fitting in your home. Depending on the furniture piece and your fabric this may take several hours.

I only schedule 1 project at a time, so when I am working on your slipcover, it has my undivided attention. When I'm finished sewing your slipcover, I will deliver it, or you can pick up from my studio. I will put your slipcover on, and instruct you as to how to put it on. I will also advise you on how to treat and care for your slipcover.

There are several local stores you can purchase fabric from, however, I do require a sample of your fabric to insure it is suitable for your project. So please contact me before purchasing, this may save you from making an unsuitable choice. This is very important, as not all fabrics are suitable for slipcovers and not all fabrics will be a good choice for your project. By me pre-approving the fabric, we greatly increase the chances of a successful outcome.
